 |

Ample paved, off-street parking is available for all of Denali Dome Home's guests. This B&B's reputation for excellence has earned a 3-diamond rating from the AAA (American Automobile Association). Denali Dome Home provides a smoke free environment. The owners are active members of the Denali Chamber of Commerce and past membership chairs of the Bed and Breakfast Association of Alaska. Church, school, scouts and sports also keep this family active in the Denali area. |
The Rooms
Guests enjoy staying in remarkable accommodations that feature great Alaskan ambiance. Denali Dome Home has two huge, rock fireplaces, a large kitchen and dining area, and fabulous forest views from the many windows and walk-around decks. Unwind in the sauna or jacuzzi. Relax in the library nook with Alaskan art, a video or book. Use the business office center or talk with other guests in the spacious living room or family rooms. |
 |
| The Denali Dome Home has seven individually decorated bedrooms with private baths available for guests. Rooms feature king or queen-sized beds. Some of the larger rooms have additional twin beds. Each room has a TV, VCR, telephone, robes, hair dryers, radio/alarm clocks and information books. Art work, antiques, plants or flowers, books and chocolates add to the decorations. Email and computer services are available in a business center. The Millers serve a full, wholesome, cooked-to-order breakfast, and they enjoy visiting with their guests from throughout the USA and around the world. |
Summer
The Alaskan summer season is a busy time of year with nearly round-the-clock daylight. While temperatures can push 75+F, more typical are ranges of 50-70F with progressively cooler evenings in August and September. Days can be a mix of sunshine, clouds, and rain --all within a 24 hour period. Guests should dress in layers with a shirt, sweater and jacket. Flannel and fleece are always in fashion in Interior Alaska. Bring your slippers or wear slippers provided especially for you to add to the comfort. |
 |
Winter
With clear, cold, and long winter nights, Healy frequently has excellent opportunities for viewing the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Many Alaskans say despite the cold and darkness, winter in Alaska is a very special time of year that affords unrivaled access to many remote areas by snow machine and track vehicle. Ice skating, cross-country skiing, using snow shoes, and dog mushing are very popular in the area. Guests enjoy the Alaska winter scenery, tour Healy on a snowmachine or dogsled ride, then relax inside with a crackling fire, a comfortable couch, and a warm drink while waiting for the Aurora Light Show. |
